Our Personal Training staff is passionate about what they do and they are ready to make your fitness goals a reality. Free weights, resistance training, cardio, and outdoor training are all incorporated in our functional approach.

  • With over five years of experience as a certified ACE Personal Trainer, Miguel Garcia has helped countless individuals achieve their fitness goals. Holding a degree in Athletic Training from Linfield University, he specializes in injury recovery, athletic performance enhancement, and overall movement improvement. His client-centered approach ensures personalized training plans tailored to each individual’s needs, creating an environment where clients can thrive. Whether the goal is building strength, optimizing performance, or simply feeling and moving better, Miguel provides the expertise and support needed to take fitness to the next level.

  • Jana Wick is a NASM-certified personal trainer with a passion for fitness and helping clients reach their goals. She specializes in building mobility, strength, and confidence through personalized training programs. Committed to proper form and injury prevention, Jana provides expert guidance to ensure clients perform exercises safely and effectively. She especially enjoys introducing strength training to those new to it, creating a supportive and fun environment that makes every workout both engaging and rewarding.

  • Leah Heil is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) with a strong background in athletics and endurance training. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, she served as captain of the swim team before embarking on two deployments to Iraq. With limited access to pools during her service, she developed a passion for running and endurance events, which continues to fuel her training philosophy today. Alongside her work as a personal trainer, she remains dedicated to swimming, coaching the local youth swim team. At HSNV, Leah focuses on building strength and mobility, helping clients stay active and capable of doing the things they love for years to come.

  • Khalil Tubbs' passion for training began with a desire to share the sense of fulfillment that comes from achieving fitness and health goals. Over time, that passion has only grown, fueled by the connections he builds with clients and the opportunity to support them on their personal journeys. He takes pride in being a positive guide, helping individuals navigate their fitness paths while celebrating their progress and unique life stories.

  • Eric Hernandez holds a B.A. in Business Communications with a minor in Nutrition from California State University, Chico, and is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). He also holds a Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) credential, allowing him to help clients move efficiently and prevent injuries. Passionate about building self-confidence through health and fitness, Eric believes training should be engaging and enjoyable. His approach incorporates strength, mobility, athleticism, and cardiovascular fitness to create well-rounded, sustainable progress. Just as people strive for success in their careers, businesses, and relationships, Eric encourages prioritizing physical health to reach one’s fullest potential.

  • With eight years of experience in fitness coaching, Matthew Hashimoto specializes in strength training and body mechanics. His primary focus is helping adults 45+ restore energy, mobility, and confidence through a structured approach to strength. Rooted in fundamental movement principles, his training philosophy emphasizes understanding the "how" and "why" behind each exercise. By tailoring workouts to the ideal level of challenge, Matthew ensures clients maximize their time in the gym while making steady, sustainable progress.
